Juno and I took a little field trip down Atlantic avenue to see photographer Caroll Taveras and her $5 portrait studio last Saturday, and I’m happy to report she did a great job.1

She did such a great job that her shot of me is the new About Me photo; hopefully it’ll endure longer than this blasted Christmas Beard. If you’re passing through Brooklyn between now and February 11 stop by–it’s a lot of fun.

(From AFC: Caroll Taveras Photo Studio is located on 539 Atlantic Avenue Brooklyn between 3rd and 4th. Hours are Tuesday through Friday 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Saturday through Sunday 12:00 pm through 5:00 pm.)
